The mountain Mindolluin is at the eastern edge of the range. The Path of the Dead run through the range. The gap is near the valley of Helm's Deep. The western part the White Mountains are separated from the Misty Mountains by the Gap of Rohan. Ered Nimrais: The Ered Nimrais (Sindarin: Whitehorn Mountains) or White Mountains are a mountain range between Gondor in the south and Rohan in the north.At the western end of the Grey Mountains is Mount Gundabad. Ered Mithrin: The Ered Mithrin (Sindarin: Grey Mountains) is a range of mountains to the north of Rhovanion.In the middle of the mountain range is a gap. Until the end of the First Age, the Ered Luin separated Beleriand and Eriador.

On the eastern side of the lake is the hill Amon Lhaw. It is at the southern end of the long lake Nen Hithoel near the Falls of Rauros. Amon Hen: Amon Hen ( Sindarin: Hill of the Eye) is a hill on the west side of the river Anduin.The elephant-like mûmakil (or oliphaunts) also live in Harad. In the Fourth Age, the Reunited Kingdom of Arnor and Gondor made peace with Harad. The were often influenced by Sauron and fought with the western realms.
The coasts of Harad were settled by the Black Númenóreans.
